About Me

Colin Lindborg, MFT, holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from University of California in Irvine in 2005. He then went on to run the mobile meals program out of Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA working with homebound people with diverse backgrounds in his community. He transitioned from that role into living and working for two years at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur California, where he developed an interest in and passion for a holistic vision of psychotherapy where the whole individual (Mind, Body, Emotional Body, Social Self, Soul, Spirit) can be supported, integrated, and used to meet the beauty and challenges of the world in powerful and enlivening ways. Since receiving his Master’s, Colin has worked with people facing different types of challenges including people facing relationship issues, youth and families at points of challenge and crisis, eating disorder diagnoses, and with caregivers and adults with diagnoses of severe mental illness, dementia, and other end-of-life challenges. In his free time, Colin enjoys dancing and movement, meditation/awareness practice, cooking, riding horses, walking dogs, the privilege of travel and exploring different cultures, creating art and music, and spending time with his friends and family.

I can’t imagine any other honor greater than supporting others in re-engaging with creating opportunities for meaning, passion, and joy for themselves and others in their lives.
